What happens during the site inspection?
During the site inspection, the project manager will:
- Assess your walls and surfaces
- Recommend suitable paint types and sealers
- Present colour cards and help with colour selection* (choose up to 4 wall colours, plus white ceiling)
- Provide a rough estimate on site, with the formal quotation sent within 1–2 working days
- Answer any questions about the painting service

What painting packages are available?
Dulux offers different packages based on the type of interior paint:
- Pentalite: High-coverage paint, ideal for smooth, even walls
- Wash&Wear: Stain-resistant and washable, perfect for families or high-traffic areas
- Ambiance All AirClean: Premium paint that helps destroy formaldehyde, keeping your home fresher and healthier
How many colours can I choose for my home?
You can select up to 4 wall colours, plus a white ceiling, giving you flexibility to create your ideal look.
Extra charges apply for any additional colours.
How is the painting cost determined?
Costs depend on house size, the complexity of the job, the type of paint, and any specific requirements.
A formal quote will be provided 1–2 working days after the site inspection.
Do the painters help with furniture moving and protection?
Our painters will assist with moving furniture while you’re present and protecting surfaces with dropsheets.
For a smoother process, we recommend storing valuables and clearing loose items from furniture.
What are the painting hours and how long does it take?
Painting is carried out from 9am to 6pm. A 4-room flat usually takes 2–3 days; if a sealer is required, allow 3 days.
Keep the space well-ventilated for several days after applying the sealer, especially if it’s oil-based, as it contains turpentine.
When is payment due?
Payment is only due after the painting work is completed.
Is there a warranty on the painting service?
A 12-month warranty applies to all painting jobs that include a sealer.
It covers paint peeling, flaking, bubbling (not caused by structural defects, moisture issues, or surface contamination) and discolouration, giving you confidence in the quality of our products and workmanship.
